Welcome to FirstWorkbook. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of this website and any purchase you make on it. By accessing the website, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund & Replacement Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, to place an order. Parents or guardians may buy products for children; children should use the website only under adult supervision.

2. Your account

  • You can place an order as a guest or create an account. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • You agree to give accurate, current and complete information, including your name, email, mobile number and delivery address.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that give false information, misuse the website or break these Terms.

3. Products and descriptions

We sell children's activity workbooks as printed books, digital PDFs, and combos of both. We try to show product details, sample pages, age groups and prices as accurately as possible. However, colours on screen may differ slightly from the printed product, and minor variations in printing or paper are not considered defects.

4. Pricing and payment

  • All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges, if any, are shown at checkout before payment.
  • Payments are accepted through our secure, RBI-compliant payment gateway partner using UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking and wallets. Cash on Delivery is not available.
  • We may change prices at any time without notice. The price that applies is the one shown at the time you place your order.
  • If a product is listed at a wrong price because of a technical or typing error, we may cancel the order and refund the full amount.

5. Order acceptance

An order is confirmed only after successful payment, and you will receive an order confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel any order for reasons such as stock unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or an undeliverable address. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the full amount to your original payment method.

6. Shipping and delivery

Printed books are delivered within India only. Delivery timelines, charges and other details are explained in our Shipping Policy. Delivery dates are estimates, and we are not liable for delays caused by courier partners or events beyond our control.

7. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Cancellations, replacements and refunds are handled as described in our Refund & Replacement Policy.

8. Digital products (PDF) licence

When you buy a PDF, you get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal and single-family use only. You may print copies for your own children at home. You may not:

  • Resell, share, upload, email or forward the PDF or download link to others.
  • Use the PDF in schools, coaching classes or other commercial settings without our written permission. Contact us for school or bulk licences.
  • Edit, copy or redistribute the content, or remove copyright notices.

We may disable download access if we find misuse.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including workbooks, illustrations, text, designs, logos, graphics and the FirstWorkbook name, is owned by or licensed to FirstWorkbook and is protected by the Copyright Act, 1957 and other Indian laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

10. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

  • Use the website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
  • Try to gain unauthorised access to our systems, accounts or data.
  • Upload viruses or harmful code, or disrupt the website's working.
  • Use bots or scrapers to copy content or prices.

11. Limitation of liability

The website and products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, FirstWorkbook is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or products. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold FirstWorkbook harmless from any claims, losses or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the website or products.

13. Force majeure

We are not responsible for any delay or failure to perform our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, government restrictions, courier disruptions or internet outages.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the website is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. We encourage you to contact us first so that we can try to resolve any issue amicably.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
